As a Skyteam member, I need that KLM flight back

I mean, I have zero idea what Delta is doing with my status anyway, I know in 2020 they froze it and continued it to 2021 but I hope/assume they will do the same for 2021 earnings.

With Norwegian out of the running at Paris, maybe, hopefully, Air France had its eyes on Austin now.

I have a hard time understanding why these exist. Is there legit demand from Austin to Bozeman?

Yes! Bozeman is a gateway to Big Sky, Yellowstone and the rest of Montana. Montana is a very up-and-coming and trendy travel destination.

Additionally, with COVID going to continue to rear its ugly head well into this year (and maybe into 2022) on the international scene. One is going to see increased demand for domestic routes to touristy areas.

Bozeman is also booming as a WFH destination, and filling up with people from the California exodus.

I actually have friends in Bozeman. It's a really cool city, and lots of very very wealthy people buy lots of land nearby.

Its the best place to get to Glacier National Park from, and convenient to Yellowstone as well. Though, I would imagine coming into Jackson Hole and seeing Teton as well would be the preferable way to get there still.

2020 passenger count was just shy of 6.5 million

Release Date: Feb. 11, 2021

Overall in 2020, AUS had 6,472,579 passengers pass through its doors—that’s down 62.7% from the 17,343,729 passengers the airport saw in its highest-ever passenger travel year, 2019. These are the lowest passenger numbers for AUS since the airport opened in 1999. Prior to COVID-19, AUS saw 10 consecutive years of record-setting passenger growth.

Agree! Many friends I know are planning spring vacations. The flight numbers I bet will go up drastically in the coming months, especially as more get vaccinated.

We have some postponed SWA flight credits that only last until the end of the year, so it’s Vegas baby!

Finally some good news.....

Delta keeping Austin and RDU as their only focus cities in network.

https://twitter.com/ByERussell/statu...152278531?s=20

Also they are spooling things back up at AUS. Yesterday 3/2 they had 23 flights.

ATL 6x A321
JFK 2x BCS1
DTW 1x BCS3, 1x BCS1, 1x E75S
MSP 2x BCS1, 1x E170
SLC 1x A320, 1X BCS3, 1x BCS1
LAX 1x B738, 2x A319
BOS 1x BCS1
SEA 1x BCS1
RDU 1x E75S

This should bode well for the chances of KLM launching AMS service in the future.
