South Side

So I really didn't want to work on a paper I have due.. so I decided to play simcity. I came across an old secondary city called Southside that I thought might be fun to turn around.

Here she is a class B office and industrial city.

The markets had changed in this region since last I had played this city which clearly helped in redeveloping its somewhat lack luster industrial water front

It sorta reminds me of Portland OR...

Whata think?

Then it became as important not to look as to look, I feared I would be lost in rush of bronze motes."

^ yea most of my cities are like that, because most cities are like that. At least in the northeast. I try and make them look and function as much as real cities as possible but for some reason I dont think people like my cities. I never really get much response to them.

I think I am going to add some more fantasy to them, perhaps a closer tour, more parks hell I might even add a highway to fuck shit up a bit.

just check its 220,000... its the middle sized city, I get 400,000 in them but then they start to look fake unless I am trying to go for " Hong Kong" in which case I have gotten over two million on half a large city (the other half was water and mountains. See Farmington My Largest City for my current biggest on file.

car traffic is reduced without them. There use to be one, but I ditched it because parts of the city where falling apart and it kepted getting backed up

Your city is fabulous

I like it when I imagine being at the shoreline, and then you see towering skyscrapers... then you pass through the small opening, and it's like passing through the crevasses of two cliffs. You look up and stare in awe as if you were looking into the heavens...
