No. I went over to Butler Park and the Pfluger Bridge. I was on that side of downtown anyway, so I headed over just before sunset.

I pretty much forgot actually. My sister and brother-in-law threw a party/get together, and we didn't get home until 2 am thanks to the time change. I didn't go to bed until 3. So I woke up late and felt like crud.

Many photos from the last few weeks, from SXSW and Texas relay.

When we were waiting in a long line at the Levi's "fort" during SXSW, this band walked up with portable amps and started playing. Good move!

The group Cracker at Auditorium shores:

She also had "free kisses" written on her back. Didn't see her handing out either one!

Just before Cheap Trick took the stage:

Cheap Trick. They were great!

From the Austin guitar show. Man, these old guitars are pricey!!

An old harp guitar. I'd never seen one before.

Rachel Ray arrives at her event at Stubbs. It was freezing cold!

Bob Schneider at Stubbs (taken with iPhone)

Pollen!! Makes me sneeze just looking at it.

Live music capital of the world.

Texas Relays weekend.

Police presence was very heavy. We were sitting at Chupacabra's when six city buses full of police pulled up. It was kind of over-the-top, imho.

Casino el Camino's new storefront. A lot of the places on 6th have spruced up over the last several months.

More random Texas Relays people shots:

Cool. I missed out going to the Cheap Trick show. I wanted to, but I had to watch my nephew that weekend. I'm surprised they let you in with your camera.

At the beginning of the week they wouldn't let me take by big Nikon into the Levi's fort, so from then on I just took my little Canon G9 everywhere. I can hide that in my pocket.

Thanks - and yeah the Caddy is photogenic. It's the first time I've ever seen it. I don't get to that area of W. Sixth very often.

And now for something completely different - here's a few from the Barton Creek Greenbelt last weekend.

I posted the rest of them in the General Photography forum

This is a great set of posts showing Austin's funkier side. Thanks, and keep up the good work, LSM. The forum has been pretty slow, otherwise.
