Not sure if this goes here. I'm assuming that the owners of Georgetown also own the Toys'R'Us. The Toys'R'Us is being slated for demolition, but not the Dollarama (at this time).

Toys'R'Us and Dollarama are both in one building, you couldn't possibly demolish one and leave the other standing.

Yes, Anthem also owns the Toys'R'Us / Dollarama site.

Maybe the Toys'R'Us will be a sales centre for Anthem for the rest of Georgetown and there's just doing interior demo
(since I doubt they'd start the "Toys" site before Georgetown is complete).
They had temprorary trailers for Georgetown Phase 1's sales centre.

That would allow the Dollarama to continue operating for a bit longer.

Perhaps it is just the inside at this time, that I am not sure about. But I am sure that they said they were only working on the Toys'R'Us site and the Dollarama was being left alone.

I can't possibly see them waiting till Georgetown is all complete. That's like 15-20 years away

Off topic but relevant: They'll move onto the development sooner rather than later. We have low interest rates, an emerging city since 2012, and a climate of investment and opportunity. Keep an eye out for the Cosmos (Surrey) site for this development and you'll see action more than inaction before this Georgetown development commences beyond Phase 2 to 3.

Depends on the market i guess. 15-20 does seem like a long time. But unless they can differentiate the projects, they might cannibalize sales at each one if they market simultaneously.

I just said 15-20 based off their current pace. They could turn it up and throw down 4 towers at once like The Hub but who knows.
