Fantastic tour! Those pyramids looked like they were mountains.

Fantastic photos.

I've been there in January and your photos show the city like it really is. Certainly not pretty, hands down the loudest and one of the dirtiest cities I've ever been to, but at the same time filled with an intense density of life, friendly people and something new to discover around every streetcorner.

Great shots of one of the world's truly great cities. You definitely captured it in all it's glory. It's Loud, dirty, hot, dense, lively, vibrant, diverse, and packed with history (just realized R@ptor wrote a similar list lol oh well). Not a bad subway system either. All of that combines to make it what it is.

I remember seeing that Pizza Hut/KFC combo across the street from the pyramids when I was there. It's kind of offensive, but I guess if the Egyptians don't have a problem with it then I shouldn't either. haha

Wowza. Impressive density and vibrant street life.

Why didn't you use the 40D though?

definitely some great photos. A suggestion for the city would be to hire people to pick up trash.

Never had an extensive view of Cairo, and this sufficed, to say the very least. Amazing photographs.
