Nice little video, a bit on the long side though. Looks like it will be a great area to live in.

The great part about that is, by the end of this year, most of the neighbourhood will be either complete or under construction, as CMLC just announced today that 5 more projects will be starting this year (Ink, Alt Hotel, Shops of East Village, Verve, and The Hat). There is only one full block left in the EV without an official proposal on it.

This was made by deeworks on mtlurb, based on the Champlain Bridge webcam angle. What the skyline will look like expanded westward with the addition of the YUL towers and the Holiday Inn:

Sort of a future skyline of Thunder Bay, including the three Prince Arthur's Landing mid-rise towers, the future Thunder Bay Event and Entertainment Centre, and the complete first and second phases of the waterfront rejuvenation...

Proposals for LeBreton Flats could change the face of Ottawa.

IlumiNATION Lebreton, from Rendez-Vous LeBreton, lead partner; the Ottawa Senators propose a more urban environment, burying the Confederation Line, an arena for the senators, an abilities centre. 6 distinct neighborhoods, all interconnected. Proposal's more of an extension of downtown.

LeBreton Re-Imagined, from Devecore, more of a pie in the sky type proposal. An Expo/Montreal Olympic park type thing to the north. Something like a dozen+ museums. Like they had a brainstorming session and decided to just do everything. Much less residential and office space, on the southern portion of the site. Little integration to the north, partly due to the Confederation Line creating a barrier.

Also proposing an arena for the team owned by their competitor.

Wow, that looks great! What are they waiting for? Start building it already...

That's what I thought. Also FCP is now a supertall and they re-clad it back to marble, not to mention it looks like the water levels in Lake Ontario have risen about 70ft.. Too funny.

It also looks like some of those buildings on the waterfront will be under water? Maybe that's the new way of living...underwater!

I've been expanding and adding detail to my Toronto model. It now goes from Dufferin to the DVP and from the Lake almost up to Lawrence. Still plenty more towers and textures to add, I'm trying to include everything 50+ metres, which on this model is approximately 1000 buildings. Here is a quick preview:

More to come soon...

Toronto 2040 .. The L Tower will still have the damn Crane sitting on top of it. That's my guess.

Apparently, the crane will develop self awareness between now and 2040, get bored, and disassemble the tower
