This appears to be at the corner of Piedmont and Lenox Road.

Ponce City Market plans its next phase

https://www.bizjournals.com/atlanta/...ext-phase.html

Quote:
Ponce City Market is preparing for a major expansion. Atlanta developer Jamestown this month will start discussions with neighborhood leaders for the next phase of the more than 2 million-square-foot Old Fourth Ward project, which transformed the former Sears, Roebuck & Co. warehouse along the Atlanta Beltline into a bustling destination for tech companies, shoppers and diners.

Details are vague but Jamestown will consider adding residential, retail and office space. The developer is seeking an amendment from the city, allowing it to tweak the current zoning for an expansion.

Neighborhood meetings are set to start July 13, and the city's Zoning Review Board could vote on the proposal in October.

Newport has big plans to revitalize downtown Atlanta

Quote:
Newport US’s plan is to renovate the historic structures for a mix of retail, restaurants, art galleries, office space and apartments.

The project will sit between the redevelopment of Underground Atlanta and plans by the Atlanta Hawks and their partners for an entertainment district outside Philips Arena. The buildings are largely south of Five Points between the Fulton County Government Center and the downtown federal courthouse.

The company has about a dozen other buildings under contract, including the massive and vacant 222 Mitchell Street complex that once housed offices for NationsBank, a predecessor to Bank of America.

Oliver McMillan has tweaked the design of the next phase of Buckhead Atlanta and according to the Business Chronicle could break ground in early 2018.

Per ABC:

More details to come in the ABC tomorrow regarding Newport's downtown development, supposedly to include scope and timing. Looks exactly like the type of urban environment people are looking to live in and what feels like has been missing in Atlanta.

Broad Street

MLK and Broadstreet

Peachtree

The Bass Building

oops! I don't know how I didn't see that you already posted the renderings. Anyway...

There has been a lot of great projects in the city over the last few years but if this comes to fruition it may be my favorite of all. Now maybe Fairlie-Poplar can finally attract some development.

Super nice!

Those are some of the best renderings I've seen in a while, too.

First look at Ponce City Market's expansion

https://www.bizjournals.com/atlanta/...expansion.html

The tower on Glenn Iris is a proposed hotel. With this level of expansion I can definitely see Apple signing on at PCM.

I refuse to read a journal, so I am behind the paywall. What is the addition on the immediate beltline?

S9 might as well consider opening an Atlanta office between this, 725 Ponce, and Underground. Seems like we're half their market now.

Two buildings. One office. One residential. The 18 story tower on glen iris is a hotel. That's a proposed Apple Store in the middle of the market where there's currently green space.

Who would have thought 5 years ago that Apple would be headed to O4W? This is a fantastic project along with so many other great projects in the city. And on top of what it's already under way, it is truly an exciting time for the city.
Now bring on some Transit expansion!!!

Whoah! keep bringing offices to Midtown and bringing development closer to North Ave! Curious what this behemoth will look like. Kind of odd it only has 9,400 sq. ft. of retail for a large office and residential development. Coda, NCR, 1105 W. Peachtree, potentially this... excellent times for Midtown. Now if we can get rid of those freestanding parking garages taking up entire blocks and surface parking...
