Any word yet on the results?

I killed the Glowrock in Chicago thread.

Also, Big Rock bourbon barrel aged porter. In my top two local beers ever. I can feel it even after a single bomber, being 10.4%.

Well, it looks like I do have arthritis in both knees. I've been doing therapy to get them both as good as they can get (which isn't very good) I can get around a bit better now but, things get bad when I first stand up after I've been sitting for a while......HOOOO BOY!!! There are many times I have to stop or I'll be hitting the floor. It does let up after a few seconds but it's something I have to look forward to for the rest of my life.

Sorry to hear that rock. Not a fun condition (I know). I'm basically doing the same thing as you. I was on an Opioid for the pain, but said F that. I just try to get use to it now. Getting old ain't for pussies.

Yep. I'm getting really good at making "grandpa noises" as I stand up or walk.

I hope you're doing okay rockyi.

My ankles have been popping and creaking since I was sixteen. You should be able to hear them there soon.

In other news, it looks like Ohio dodged a bullet...No, Limp Bizkit will not be playing a show at an Ohio gas station.

This is it. This is the year the Cubs will win the World Series.

If it means the Cardinals are denied a(nother) World Series championship, I'm all for it.

I just worry that if it happens, certain segments of Cubs fandom will become as obnoxious as Red Sox Nation after the 2004 and 2007 World Series.

Even though the Great American Ballpark is essentially Wrigley East, I've got nothing against the rest of the NL Central. I just hate the fucking Cardinals because of how much better they are than the Reds. Can we bring Houston back to the National League for fuck's sake?

I die a bit inside each time I purchase beer from the big box store and the cashier presses the "appears over 40" button on the u-scan machine. Sure, with my graying Movember beard that has lasted until present I could pass for Rick Ross's or Kimbo Slice's doppelganger, but damn it!

i havent drank beer/alcohol in a month, work out 4-5 days a week, eat a mediterranean diet...and i feel like crap. i am coming to the realization that the lower midwest and south in the summer is crap.

we had a couple of days of super low humidity california-like weather followed by european-type summer weather (partially sunny, 70s, light rain followed by doppled sunlight) and i had no problem running three miles. the normal southern midwest weather returned and my chest felt like it was going to explode after about 1/4 mile and i just gave up...it was early in the morning, too. now my joints and muscles hurt from that 1/4 mile run.

next week i am going to south carolina to the beach, which annoys me. the past two summers i've been in the alps or cascades...the beach is for the shoulder seasons or winter in my opinion. as i get older, the beach gets more and more annoying.

The highlight of that trip for me was going to Charleston.
