I can't even imagine how serve the congestion will be dumping all those vehicles onto Adelaide & Richmond(over 50,000). Which is exactly what will happen without any increases in north-south transit capacity. Nor will it be very that desirable to shift all that traffic through the Corktown/St Lawrence neighborhoods.

As for the Bathurst flyover, was there any space reserved for such a right of way through the proposed Garrison point development?

Thanks Innsert, looks great! I really hope the 1 Yonge complex gets built, moreso than Mirvish even. I like the deaigns for both, but I think the effect 1 Yonge on the skyline would be much more remarkable, them being so tall and right on the water!

I think yellow denotes "in sales".

red is proposed, blue construction, yellow is in preconstruction condo sales. generally if it is yellow or blue its going to happen. red varys in likelyhood, from 2 Queen which is essentially a guarantee to some towers that I have up there that we haven't heard from for a year or two, specifically a few along yonge street.

Then add two or three highrises in the right spots between this and downtown to connect the skylines.

^ It could be 5 years as it could be 20... Many of these towers have either been proposed, accepted or are even in sales but with the government cuts and the market slowdown in Ottawa, condo sales have dropped significantly. Sad...

How are condo sales going in Ottawa? Last I read, they weren't doing so hot. Have things improved?

Not good, no improvement as far as I know. But they did break ground on a new building recently. It took about a year and a half to sell enough units in "The Slater", a mixed hotel (ALT) and condo (164 units) building in the CBD. So that's a bit of an indication for the Ottawa market; it took a year and a half before they had enough sales in a 164 unit building, and that was the best selling building as far as I know.
