Jokes aside, this is great news! Even without the retail this is definitely a good looking project (though the retail would be a huge bonus, of course). I'll be sad to see one of those old commercial buildings on the site go, but overall downtown comes out ahead.

It needs the retail for me to like it. Otherwise it's a place where a bunch of people drive in and out and never spend any time around it.

Is this still the location of Encore, or is it going in next door where Heritage Plaza used to be??

Yes, this is Encore's location. The other development next door is the Landbridge development. Two separate developments.

Both will add great residential density to the south end of downtown.

This should have had retail AT LEAST fronting Flores... that street is a little too busy for residential patios.

Other than that, it's great infill.

I think that's still on your phone. You have to upload your photo to the internet first. You can use this website to host it for free. Select the BBcode copy link (for forums and message boards) to post it on the forum.
