Curitiba is a Brazilian, capital city of the state of the Paraná, located the 934,6 meters above sea level, in first paranaense plateaus. I once saw a part of a news report which was discussing how to properly run a city. The example they used was Curitiba. It is one of the best run cities for its size in the world. It certainly looks attrctive in these pics. Thanks for all the work to share these with us.

Oh yeah, the cliff/waterfall pic (#29) looks very dramatic.

Looks like a really nice city. Professors here are always discussing it because of its Bus Rapid Transit system and how well planned/efficiently run the system is

Gorgeous. I've heard of the bus system, too, and how well it functions.

What a great array of beautiful buildings. If an American city had this building stock, it would considered one of the very best.

Curitiba has mastered Transit Oriented Development -- with its bus rapid transit system and high density located within distance of the system, the city seems to function quite well.

Curitiba is know worldwide to fight fans due to Wanderlei Silva, Shogun Rua, & Chute boxe academy.

beautiful pictures and a beautiful city. i was there once and was amazed by how colorful the skyline was in the daytime.

curitiba's public transit not only functions well, but it looks neat too! i love the cylinder shelters by side of the road.
