I know it's been said before, but it will be pure awesomeness to watch this (at least phase 1), river point, and 150 riverside all rise together. When's the last time there were 3 high profile, fairly sizeable projects going up in such close proximity? Should be a treat

the river point construction cam angle has been moved down a bit and gives a much better view of wolf point and 150 N Riverside sites

Building permit was issued yesterday to build the actual tower. It says 507 units, 200 parking spaces, at an estimated cost of $105M

The main caisson rid is being disassembled. I was yelling to the construction workers the other day and was told they were going down -80'.

Dual Drive - capable of snapping the "kelly bar".

Big a--s belling bit

And some serious reinforcing (is this the bottom of the cage ?)

Michaels (Milwaukee) and their cool platform for doing angled sheet pile (as done across the river).

Hydrolic digging (no not a Wisconsin company) Badger Daylighting

Full set at Curbed Chicago (Thanks wierdaaron).

I think there's still at least one rig -- it's parked at the south end of the site, just west of the office trailers.

Just wondering because on the actual wolf point website it lists tower as 500ft is this accurate or no.

Chances are the hooks on the rebar are at the top of the cage, tying into a pile cap or grade beam.

5-8-14, from my iPhone. Please excuse the low res pics.

Tower caissons peeking out. They've also poured all the caissons for phase1 of the riverwalk.

Some old pilings in the foreground.

on the river point cam. It looks like a piece of a tower crane just showed up on the wolf point site and rebar is going in for the core. http://oxblue.com/open/clarkconstruc...iverpointplaza
