I could easily see myself retire to Victoria. Went there 4 times in the past 15 years. Nice weather, gorgeous setting, beautiful quaint urban experience. Just don't tell anybody. I don't want a 1 bedroom condo to cost 2 millions by the time I get there!

Former head of CONCACAF and FIFA VP, Jack Warner from Trinidad, said the same thing. He could see himself living there one day. Turns out he was one of the many FIFA crooks. If he didn't get caught he could have retired there and spent good/bad money in the local economy.

The nearly completed Dale/Apogee rental tower at 32 floors and 345 feet, making it the 5th tallest in Ottawa-Gatineau at the moment. Walking distance from Tunney's station.

New tower near Tunney's station on Scott.

End of the Confederation Line at Tunney's Pasture, with Minto Metropole in the background, the fourth tallest in Ottawa-Gatineau at 32 floors and 354 feet. The shorter tower is a new 22 floor tower on Scott. Seven more are proposed or approved ranging from 9 to 29 floors, all within walking distance from Westboro station (Transitway, to be converted to rail by 2025).

Sorry Zoomer, I just saw your question now... I took those photos from High Rock Park in Esquimalt.

I thought I would share a few more photos that I took of Victoria on November 8th. I will share half of them tonight and the rest tomorrow.
