Can't tell. I'm sorry but I promise to keep my sources anonymous since they can get in trouble for releasing renderings/information early.
That's fine! So there's a signifcant chance of this happening then? If so, VERY exciting. I can only imagine what south wilmington will bring in terms of development. Hoping for a new tower somewhere there as well.
I've been hoping and praying for awhile now that they would begin to develop the opposite side of the Riverfront and include a bridge (Opposite the Imax & Restaurants) I hope so much that they go through with this, with the bridge and everything, it would be so wonderful for the city.

That ING news would be ....yes, I'll say it, "game-changer" - bringing big business to the other side of the river. And that proposed residential development ...finally the Riverfront would begin to have an urban neighborhood feel.
Should also note that Mike Purzycki is running for mayor who has headed the Riverfront Development Corp forever - with everything that was happened along the Riverfront since the 1990s, I really hope he wins. Very-pro business, and business minded .... and with tangible proof of success as a leader, just look at the Riverfront.
"New Castle County has given Incyte Corp. approval to build office space for another 450 employees adjacent to the old Wanamaker building the pharmaceutical company bought in 2014.
The County Council on Tuesday unanimously authorized the 154,000-square-foot, four-story office building and 473-vehicle garage behind the existing 180,000 square-foot headquarters at 1801 Augustine Road, near Augustine Cut-Off.
The new office building will be connected by a covered walkway to the parking garage that will feature a green area on the roof."
Does anyone have any recommendations for what to do for a half a day in Wilmington? We are going to be visiting the Brandywine valley for a weekend in May and are taking Amtrak from Wilmington.

You could hang out around the Riverfront which is right next to the Wilmington train station, and have lunch/dinner (plenty of restaurants/bars) along the nice long walking trail that borders the river; the Children's Museum is right there if you have kids; if the Blue Rocks are playing - Minor League affiliate of the KC Royals - take in a baseball game, the stadium is on the Riverfront; IMAX theater as well.
Downtown, Market Street - the Grand Opera House, and/or World Cafe Live! (music venue) might have something going on.
If you want more of a neighborhood feel, check out Trolley Square/Forty Acres and Rockford Park (huge old mansions - from the booming old DuPont money days of the early 20th century). Trendy, and old bars/restaurants in Trolley Square. Terrific parks here (Rockford and Brandywine Park -- Brandywine Park also has a small zoo, very cheap, like $5 admission, there's a tiger! ha). Delaware Art Museum is also located close to Rockford Park.
If you're driving - Old Historic New Castle, which is less than 10 miles from Wilmington is a great little pocket of colonial America.
Thread's getting stale, time for an update! Lots of construction in Wilmington!
Market Street welcomes the third Starbucks downtown and I believe a 1 mile radius as well(gentrifying?!):
It's across from 608 MKT and also has even more apartments above it, so expect this one to be BUSY, opens in the summer.
Orange/9th St and Shipley St apartment/retail complex seems to be getting ready to start building, steel has been delivered:
Then, we've got Harlan Flats Phase II, and the best part... There's a core rising! Not many cores rise in Wilmington lol:
And next up, 13th/14th & Walnut St getting revamped on both sides with some new rowhomes and apartments being built:
And then this Dollar General was built a couple of months ago on N. Market but I don't recall seeing any images posted here.
Aside from those projects, there's much more I didn't getting a chance to capture today. But there's a lot of revitilization efforts going on throughout the entire city, 5 are on my block alone!
^^Nice updates! I really hope the Midtown Apartment project gets going ASAP, we need that giant parking lot downtown eliminated ASAP. It has been used as a parking lot for construction workers doing all the work along Market Street for BP Group - but now that things are winding down there, lets hope it means the Midtown project commences immediately.
Also saw a few weeks back that the Riverfront is getting another restaurant to fill in this hole.
Also - nothing yet, but hoping there's something in the works finally for a third tower - it's about 12 years in the making at this point! At least the old rendering/sign from Brandywine Realty Trust was taking down when the lot was sold to JPMC.
And finally, not to get political - but huge Mayoral primary on Tuesday for Wilmingtonians (along with the presidential as well). Mayor Williams seems completely overwhelmed right now, a second term would seem like a disaster.
Don't get me wrong, those are nice shots and I'm glad Camden is getting some projects off the ground, but in my humble opinion this doesn't belong at the top permanently.

Its a thread documenting the redevelopment of Camden....?
It could be Nexis, if you want it to be. My feeling is that a general development thread for Camden is overdue, but I realize you didn't initially intend it to be.
Just a thought. Either way, the pics you posted are really great.
I guess it's really your call, if you are up for modifying the start of the beginning for the thread, then that would be cool. If not, thanks a bunch for the very-well-thought-out pics.

A GD thread for Pennsy's smaller cities (Lancaster, Bethlehem, Scranton, Harrisburg, Erie, State College, etc.) is also way overdue.
