I'm thinking to myself... I wonder what my first impression is going to be of all these people? And what they'll think when they see me? I think my impression of Ayeronaut and Copes will be, "****, you're tall!" - just guessing based on the fact you're not islanders. It's a thing that happens over the generations - not just to people, but all flora and fauna. Greek islanders are far shorter than the mainland average as well.

Jeddy I think will be about my height and I picture him laughing under his breath as much as I do, ha! And we'll probably, I assume, be able to turn our heads and talk to each other such that you two are like, "WTF are you saying?"

And I think your first impression of me will be, more or less, "Holy shit, you're bigger than I expected. I don't necessarily mean fat, really, I just mean... bigger. You look like you could beat me up, even though we all know you can't, ha!"

If it's only four of us, then size won't matter. Grapevine has the couches at the back, which are always nice. Underbelly would have better beer, and I freaking love the atmosphere there. The Club was mentioned in another thread as being a potential location, though it is a restaurant I guess.

And because none of that narrows anything down whatsoever, I'll go ahead and say that my top choice would be Underbelly. I haven't been there since last spring and have been itching to go back (tried once in October, but during the week and it wasn't open so we stayed upstairs).

Well I'm free from 1pm, haha. I imagine all you employed types will want to go home for a bit after work first. It also depends on how late everyone can stay; I would suggest 9, but if someone has to leave at 10:30 maybe we should say 8. So either 8 or 9?

Is everyone O.K. with:

January 18, 2013

I bet I have you beat in the race to the floor. I'm, I think, genuinely 5'7.5" barefoot (and yes, that 0.5" is critical to mention). BUT I've been lying about my height for so long, I don't recall if that's the true one or not...

And I just mean I'm always laughing at everything around me under my breath, lol... you type some version of "ha" as often as I do.

Haha... 6'2 I'm about average among my friends back home, though a couple are 6'5 and 6'6.

I should bring my friend here to the meet, he's 6'5 and is the shortest male in his family (from Ottawa)

And then, together, we can bring the ring to Mordor.

I guess I'm just the human then. Hovering around 6'. Pretty average.

The two hobbits and the Elf will make for epic company.

Absolutely. Visitors get free meet-ups. Even if we had one the week before, ha!

I just saw someone use philosoraptor, so I checked the full smiley list for the first time in probably a year. There have been so many new additions!

Edit: Why the f*ck did I post in this thread?
I think I need to go to bed or something.

Tard!!!

EDIT: Just to clarify, Ayeronaut posted a smiley of a cat named Tard. I wasn't directing that at him.
