*BUMP*

So, just lie down on the leather sofa over there, everyone... how are you all feeling?

But, seriously - any questions? Concerns? Complaints? Suggestions?

Just noticed in the Atlantic section that Saint Johns has a "suburbs" thread. I was wondering if we should do the same here? Instead of posting stuff for Mt. Pearl, Paradise in the St. John's Metro West End thread, should we have a thread similar to what Saint John has?

The only thing is that with the southlands on the other side of Mount Pearl it kind of complicates things a little doesnt it?
Do you think there is enough going on in those specific municipalities to separate them in to another thread?
I'm sure that when Glencrest gets off the ground and Kenmount hill, we will have new threads specifically for those areas.

I don't know, I personally like the current arrangement due to our geography of being a long narrower city (slitting the development threads in 3 as east end DT/Official/city centre then west end metro)

EDIT:
Going with the idea of regional blending hahaha

Just to clarify, when I say suburbs, I mean Mount Pearl, Paradise, C.B.S., etc. (i.e., communities outside of St. John's). What I meant was keeping stuff like that out of the "St. John's Metro West End" thread, because technically, they are not in St. John's. Stuff for Glencrest and other west developments would be fine, because it is part of St. John's.

I dunno, just a thought after reading stuff about Paradise in the St. John's Metro West End thread. Maybe a few others can chime in with opinions....
At least then there is a thread for all the bordering towns of St. john's.

I understand what your saying, it's in the wording. That's why it has st. John's metro

but I'm open to suggestions too if it clarifies things

Got ya. The current arrangement is fine I think, but maybe what I suggested might be a good idea if the thread starts to get very busy. Just to segregate the non-St. John's posts from the St. John's posts.

But hopefully by the time that happens, the region will be amalgamated anyways...

Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but my suggestion would be that we keep discussions/pictures to a particular development limited to that specific thread.
