I have been anticipating construction of this tower ever since I saw the site this past February 2013. Keep moving forward!!!

If work continues beyond demolition, it will be a treat tracking this and the nearby Bay-Adelaide East Tower rising during the same time frame.

A shame to see that building demolished for yet another all-glass edifice.

I like the new design, but what passes for preservation in this city is an utter joke.

I agree, we're losing too many old brick buildings. Some are no loss, but I'm sad at seeing so many going.

This was one of our last remaining art deco office buildings too. It's not like we have hundreds of buildings like this.

Very true about the loss about our paltry art deco stock, and I, for one, am not partiacularly partial to 100 Adelaide W. Looks like a Libeskind knock-off, and I am not fond of Libeskind's jagged, asymmetrical aesthetic to begin with.

Is that bridge part of the path network that was maintained during construction?

I was at the site yesterday and saw a curtainwall installation on the eastern side of the podium.
