So...my 7 1/2 year old Panasonic FZ5 is giving me trouble. I can't change the settings or zoom in or out. It still takes pics, but they look kinda fuzzy and I can only take more than one photo after shutting off the camera and turning it back on.
Anyway, we're looking at a few cameras, but I was looking at a Nikon CoolPix L820 tonight. I was wondering if anyone else shoots with it or what you guys think.

We mostly need a camera that can do good people/kids/pets photos for the family and for me with skyscraper geekdom.
