get rid of one tower, two may be a little imposing on the skyline

you're right wright,

How do they look now?

I'll do a connecting atrium between them, and perhaps a (low) skybridge.

Back to Mulligan, I've remade the lay out, this is how it's gonna be now:

please some comments, suggestions, criticisms, both on buildings and the new lay out

I like the new grid. Specially because there's curved on the corners. Actually, I like the shorter one more than the tall one. I think you should make two of the shorter towers. Make one with a domed roof and the other with a flat crown.

You should place them on the blocks near the top part of the tip of the peninsula. Get what I'm sayin? I'm too lazy to point to them and then upload the picture.

the grid looks great, but methinks it gonna end up bieng waaay to thin.

I do love the towers, the shape rocks, but the textures dont seem to fit with the tower. But keep up te good work, cant wait to se it come together.

Thanks Aleks and Austin!
Aleks: Good idea make two of the shorter towers with different domes/crowns and integrating them with the taller one which i still like. I needed some ideas as to how to finish that building.
Austin: The txture is 2kb i did in paint, they don't quiet fit with the tower, i'll try new ones. what do you mean btw, the horizontal lining of windows? PErhaps it deserves a grid kinds of txtr?
I don't think the blocks are too thin.

Thanks both for the advice, now here's what i've been doing

i speculated too much in that reder! (glass's become mirrors....)ç

there's a new render in the making (say 15mns?)

the new site of the Lindhberg reminds of that of the drake in chicago

Looks good. That red building next to the 2IFC looking building is a little too tall for it's thickness. Make it a little shorter or fatter.

If you're gonna have the tall tower then only make one shorter one. It won't look good making 3 towers the same style. But yes, make the dome on the shorter tower.

i really like the shorter tower in its own merit (with its upcoming crown/dome)

but maybe the taller tower would look good in a different way as in the post in page 3. i'll see.
new sunrise render in 5 mins!

LOOKS GREAT.

Although those two towers are bugging me, I feel you should go with a more Empire State Building styled look:

The towers a beautiful. Don't change anything about the overall design.

You wanna play around with textures and stuff, that's fine, but I disagree with Austin that the textures don't match.

They are a perfect fit and look stunning with the reflections you add in the renderings. The box windows at the bases makes them complete!

Wow, looks great. The only thing you should change is the height of the containers the cranes are carrying. And maybe add a large ship or two. It's gonna look nice rendered and it's gonna be a nice view to the city.

I kinda feel like this would be more of a modern, high class residential neighborhood because of the view. But then again, the location makes it easy for trucks to deliver to places in/near the city.

Did you model those yourself? They look extremely accurate.

And it certainly is a nice view!
