I can't see Court 17. What is that?

One or two (I hope two!) sizeable projects are underway along the Foss Waterway -- one housing and one housing/offices.

Wonderland: That's a great picture of the bridge construction.

Northface: Jay Heights start? That's a good question. I haven't been in town in a while to check on the site.

The original Tacoma Narrows bridge was built without deck stiffening trusses, which you can see in the two new bridges in post #5

I will say thanks for all the Tacoma effort, mSeattle. Especially considering you don't even live here.

I am planning on getting a camera with my tax return, so hopefully will be able to contribute with more than just praise or scorn for architecture and planning issues.

Awesome. Court 17 needs confirmation of completion of if still under construction. Also actual photo of Marcato would be cool.

Thank you for giving props to Tacoma. Hoodrat, please fill us in with the Tacoma happenings in the future and take great photographs of this often overlooked dusty old jewel on the South Puget Sound. Sorry to project such a demanding tone, but it would be great to see more Tacoma related threads.

I, too, like Tacoma. Maybe I'll head up there if its sunny this weekend and wander around shoot the town and bridge, I'd like to get a bridge shot with Rainier more visible than the crappy day I was there.

Nice update!

I had no idea the bridge was so far along. Last time I went by on the train they were just getting the cables up - nice to see the roadway.
