Gerson Ibias´ Fantastic Aerial Photos: London to Shanghai

All photos and original commentaries in portuguese by SSC forumer GersonLDN (Gerson Ibias).

[QUOTE=GersonLDN;19189164]Mega Flight:
Aerials London- Shanghai....
....with SIBERIA, MONGOLIA AND CHINA Dez.2007

[SIZE="3"]Once again I bring to my friends exclusive images of the flight between Europe and the Orient, done last Christmas.
The flight took off at 15:00 and landed in Shanghai at 10:00 of the next morning.
Most of it was during the night.
Returning, we left at 11:00 and landed in London around 16:00 (+8 hours of time zone)
Since at this time of the year in the northern hemisphere the days are very short in these latitudes, many of the photo opportunities over Russia and Europe were lost.

PS: I had a fucking job to select, edit and then trying to find these places at GoogleEarth... so COMMENT

Great stuff, very interesting. It's amazing how dense the countryside in eastern China is. By western standards it would almost all qualify as one huge city of 800 million or something.

I've seen a lot of these places portrayed but from the train window.

These pictures are great! So rich in content; one can gather so much about the culture and developmental principles of all of the various places with a single shot from way up there. Thanks for the shots.

This is just wonderful...

Seems like nobody lives in Mongolia.

Kind of OT, but I've always wondered, why doesn't China just annex it?
