I’m just day dreaming of how it will look like with the second phase of the Interlock, Star Metals Hotel, the AHS development..

Agreed. And fortunately for Atlanta we are starting to see these beaches and pockets of density in several locations. Howell Mill, Memorial Drive, O4W, Summerhill, Buckhead Village, and I’d lump in Chattahoochee/Marietta Blvd separate from Howell Mill, too. If Quarry Yards and the Brock Stone project take off, Donald Lee Hollowell will be added to the list. Just a couple more projects between midtown/downtown and either of these areas will make the areas feel much more walkable. Most have decent bus routes, too.

Awesome! And there will be the apartments on the east side of Northside drive, north of 10th street. And unfortunately the QuikTrip

I know people have been saying that Midtown has reached a critical mass. Is it safe to say that the entire core has reached a critical mass (in no small part due to the Beltline)?

Fortunately, the good outweighs the bad, in this case.

Anyone recall if it’s only surface parking or there’s a parking deck for the broadstone project?

Mural and Teds signage being installed today in Westside Village:

No action on the retail portion of the Moores Mill Development but I did find these renderings. Not sure if they've been shared before or not.

Lots of fancy renderings of the interior of Novel Upper Westside on their site now:

I actually don't hate it EXCEPT FOR that ugly exposed parking deck. Why can't they throw some white paint and add tons of greenery to the deck.

Right. Some minor cosmetic changes would make ALL the difference.....

Better yet, build a stack of apartments above the retail. What a lost opportunity

Thank you! Like, WHY wasn't the retail at least incorporated better (whether into the deck or under the apts)? It just looks so piecemeal and like an after thought. Atlanta needs better codes/ordinances.....
