I just want to know what amenities they are putting on that top deck. Pretty sure I saw a rendering with a pool on the parking podium, which I find disappointing.

Unless you saw it at the DRC meeting, I don't think they have released any renderings of the parking deck or the pool. From the looks of it, there is at least some amenities on the top of the tower.

Yeha I don't understand where Street Advocate is getting this from....it looks like the pool could be at the top towards the back. Looks like that could be a pool area.

Yesterday they began installing construction fencing around the buildings that are currently on the lot. Looks like demolition and site prep should start very soon.

Think i confused myself with a rendering of Alta on the Park, although I was nearly certain at the time I saw another rendering of Lennar. Probably was just Alta on the Park.

Yeah Alta at the park is the one that doesn't have a pool at the top, but on the side above the garage in an awkward place.

Who cares about where the pool is? Let's discuss the architecture - boring. This is a standard BwB™ (Box with Balconies). Given it's location and potential rental rates, I would expect something a little more significant architecturally.

Hey, I am always on your side, but this is quite attractive. Look at the shit Miami Beach throws up at quadruple the rent. Yes beachfront makes that difference, but I still think it will fit right in...IMO

You can judge the architecture without putting other ideas down, thanks! As a potential future homeowner in the CoA, I care about duration of sunlight to amenities or whether it would be blocked by or looked down on by neighboring properties.

I agree the architecture isn't out of this world, but it will be fitting with the area. I wish it were taller to stick out on the skyline from the park, as well as give more residents views of the park. Instead, they'll all be tucked in next to Yoo (whose impact on the skyline I'm underwhelmed).

SA, don't be overly sensitive. My response was not putting your statement or anyone else down. I was mearly stating I believe there are bigger fish to fry than the pool placement. Mainly the architecture and the fact this is another glass BwB™ (Box with Balconies) in a prominent location deserving a better design.

Per the ABC, they have said that they plan to break ground by July. I just checked their permits on Accela and the demo permits were just issued a couple of weeks ago while the land development permit is nearly ready to go. It appears that this could break ground in the next few weeks.

Cost of progress and all that, but 13th St lost its most beautiful tree this past week. The site is now completely clear and ready for the tower.
