No insight as to whether or not they will break ground but from looking at permitting these are the projects that could be the next to break ground. Just based on what is in Accela here is the percentage of how much of land development is completed.

Also, cracker-box construction and if you inspect closely, some notable examples of sloppy craftsmanship (such as weirdly slanted balconies.) I actually agree a bit with Metrophile. It looks amazing from the air, but when you walk by it in person it's just off. Not bad, but there are a lot of weird things. I have specifically noticed the balconies, and there are already rust stains on some of the white parts and metal sheeting (?) peeling away on some parts. But I love the general design with the height step-down towards the garden district.

Knowing what I know about flat roofs and balconies, this property is going to have a major assessment in 10 years for leak roofs and rotten wood damage due to water penetration at the balconies and roof line. This building is going to be a huge challenge keeping water tight due to the design, and being a stick frame building, it is going to be susceptible to rot more than cement buildings. I can see why this went condo initially because this was not designed to be a low maintenance building.
Otherwise, I love the look of the building, but have not had an opportunity to see it up close.

Well the balconies are slanted probably to allow the water to drain off. But I did notice on my walk by it many windows where the caulking is poorly done and literally looks non-existent on the top of window frames.
