Looks like Pearl might build out the entire T-shaped parking lot on the 1900 Block of Chestnut as well as fronting 20th and Sansom. Here is a massing study showing the entire build:

This is looking at the Northeast corner of 20th and Sansom.

If they lower the floor count I'm going to lose my patience. Getting tired of center city projects getting nickle and dimed into mediocrity.

what is the deal with the tower? the developer is negotiating with the neighbors over a revised design? Will the retail buildings proceed without any progress on the residential tower portion of the project?

That'd be cool if that remaining bit of the theater was a lobby before getting to the residents elevators.

You can change the time stamp you see on your settings page.

I see EDT.

There are two separate aspects to this project. There will still be a tower.

The tower still exists, it's just set back from Chestnut and fronting Sansom now. Along Chestnut will be all Commercial/retail. The tower is also taller now. Instead of 26 floors, 294 feet tall, it is now 27 floors, 341 feet tall. See image below:

Is the tower still going to look the same or is it also going to be redesigned like the the building next to the Boyd.

It hasn't been approved yet, only the retail/commercial component has facing Chesntut. This leads me to believe that Pearl and Eisner are currently redesigning it.
