Really hope it starts in May. I'm finally starting to get impressed with all the cranes in the sky. Time to keep this momentum going.

~18 days, peeps!! This site is just begging to get dug up. It looks so sad.

I believe those are removed street lights at the bottom of the picture. I could be wrong though.

The loss of this prime space for a big screen --- think of the natural river front

Do you think they will tear up the remainder of the parking lot, east and south, or will they leave the south for a later time. I only ask because isn't the south section going to be completly blocked off by east, west, parking garage, and the river. So that empty lot would be useless except for staging and material storage.

Also, how difficult is that south project going to be to get materials and machinery to that site. If they use barges in the river, isnt that very shallow to dock next to?

I might be looking forward to the East tower more than anything, just because Wolf Point looks so barren right now compared to everything going on around it.

I would love to see a supertall South tower as much as anybody else but them bananas ain't ripe yet.
Can anyone explain why people keep referencing bananas on this forum? I'm assuming it's something about developments being "ripe for development", but IDK, lol.

Lol, we haven't seen that many nanners lately because this boom has been one of many smaller projects. We typically only roll them out for the groundbreaking of particularly large or impressive projects.

Never thought about how infuriating or bizarre all the banana references must be to someone who doesn't remember the two or three pages of bananas that would follow something like the arrival of cassion rigs for the Spire.
