Strongly agree... we never know how long we have on this planet or how our health will be in the future - so it's really just about experiencing as much as possible while we can..

Money will come and go.. experiences lasts a lifetime..

You do Chicago justice with all the photos, thanks for representing the city well. Also great job on all the other photos!

Damn, you've literally been all over the world. How do you get the money to do this? And do you just pick random places to go whenever you feel like it?

So jealous, all I want to do is travel the world. lol the furthest I've been away from Detroit is Toronto.

Wages in Denmark are pretty fair thanks to our culture of unions..

How I personally fund it is by putting money aside each month ( typically around $550 a month ) and then draw from that when I order my trips..

There are places that interest me more than others why I typically go multiple times to the same locations ( been to virtually all places I show more than once )..

What I also keep in mind is when it's a good time to visit the place ( I like good weather )

I've been living with my gf for a couple years so she of course also have a word in it - but she's typically happy with the ideas I propose so that's nice

We typically start planning and book half a year in advance - but have a pretty good idea about where to go a year forward and what we want to see in a not too distant future..

As for travelling in general all I can advice it go for it if it has your interest - I don't think money can be better spend than on experiences that will stay with you for the rest of your life.. and compared to other hobbies travelling is not the most expensive thing in the world..

That squirrel is awesome looks like a baby, sometimes we need to be reminded that cities and built environments are awesome the natural world is so epic and seeing animals in their native habitat is awe inspiring.

Those banners on top of buildings in Hong Kong are so ugly, EPSON -- PANASONIC.... Ugh... Not classy at all

I guess by Copenhagen or even Parisian standards, it's still a bit too much of grit from the long soviet occupation, but since they've joined the Eurozone in last January and they're the continental capital of culture this year, we've heard a little bit of their country over here. That's how I recently saw they had a seemingly mad collection of Art Nouveau buildings. Pictures of that in a report eventually gave me a good feeling about it.
