Yes, I had a small tripod for the waterfall shots and a 10-stop neutral density filter... and yep the Sony RX100 is pretty much one of the best point-and-shoots out there with DSLR-like quality

It's landscapes and density of variety in landscapes is quite spectaular!

The horses and sheep are allowed to roam and graze during the warmer months but I think are held in stables during the winter. And actually, they're winters are slightly warmer than New York's, it's just that their summers never get that warm (highs of 50s and 60s)

We just rented a car and followed a pre-planned itinerary :-).. We pretty much went everywhere, even the rarely-visited West Fjords, which were spectacular!
