The fountain in the park at the east end of the Provencher was working this morning.

They've started putting up what I believe are the 7th floor walls. It seems to take about two weeks per floor.

Two weeks per floor seems about right. They've been working on the 9th the last couple days.

^ Aprx: 8 months if they're on number 9 now? Never new what the scheduled completion date was but at least it's progressing.

I don't think they've ever said anything more specific than "move in 2016". Based on the fact that they are actually getting stuff done, that seems realistic. On the other hand, Dcondo is barely underway so I highly doubt their "late 2015" business...

Took this a couple weeks ago, but shows how massive this looks from the bridge:

Porta-potties moved to the 11th floor today- likely starting 11th floor walls tomorrow or Thursday.

Potties just got lifted to the 12th floor today, one day off the usual two-week pace. There is now a temporary elevator running up the north side.

I really don't know enough about highrise construction but 2 weeks for one floor seems like a really long time. Once a building is above ground the usual (as near as I can tell based on these boards) is roughly one week per floor. Either way, I know that it can certainly be done much more quickly than one floor per week.

My question, therefore, is if anybody can inform me about this sort of thing. For example, what's the standard time for one floor, what methods are used that may prolong the process, etc.

Thanks for the update - looks like just a little under halfway up. 13 more floors plus mech to go.
