Tour des Canadiens phases II, III and beyond revealed (lots of good renders):

http://ocpm.qc.ca/sites/ocpm.qc.ca/files/pdf/P72/3a.pdf (144MB file)

It's before the public consultations office. The land is only zoned for 65m although the towers are supposed to be 120m.

The hearing is scheduled for January 28.

^ How likely is it that they'll be granted zoning exceptions? Is municipal zoning fairly flexible in that regard?

OCPM, c'est Franktko qui a trouvé le scoop, on voit tous les projets présentement en construction autour du centre bell et les futurs phases de Cadillac Fairview

I'll verify that info. Emailed the Roccabella team to ask the exact height of their towers.

It's a bit hard to say. If a bunch of complainers show up, they might ask CF to shorten the towers. The Office of Public Consultation pretty much killed the Mackay project a few years ago. I remember reading one article describing it as Dubai-esque.

Having said that, they have made exceptions before, and there aren't really any residents in the immediate surroundings of the towers.

It would be an outrage for a horrible project like the Jardins/Cours Windsor to have been approved and built when a decent one such as this is rejected simply on the basis of height rather than quality....

I emailed them and they never replied. This is like 4 weeks ago.

J'ai survolé le document. On dirait que le 120m est le plafond du dernier étage habitable car on peut voir que ces tours (phase II et III) font 142m, alors que la quatrième fait 136m.
