Edit: OK, never mind!

Nice to see this one in the construction section. It's going to be fun watching it rise.

Ok, then I'll have to post close-ups instead! I'm probably just 5 floors beneath this cam!

I have mixed feeling about this building. The design is... acceptable, and I'm glad to see downtown getting another 500 footer, but I'm annoyed they would shoe-horn it onto a tiny corner of an occupied lot like they would in land-scare Tokyo, Hong Kong or Manhattan, when there are so many other sites just screaming to be redeveloped. There are probably about 50 places I'd rather see the residential density go in, whether in the form of a 50 story tower, 5 ten story mid-rises, or 10 five story low-rises.

As nice as it is, this is probably the site with the least amount of impact for that amount of density in terms of both skyline and street-level.

That hole's getting big! Thanks for the pics skahhigh

And here's some info about phase 2 and 3 of the TFC project. If approved by the urban gestapo council, TDC 2 and 3 will join the fast-growing 120 meter club.

Au conseil de mardi prochain
Plus d'info dans les documents

http://ville.montreal.qc.ca/document...0_19h00_FR.pdf
