It's the old Solomon Smith Barney HQ. Now I think Citibank owns it? It's definitely some major investment bank.

O I thought he was asking about the u/c tower in the pic. Kinda hard to see, but its around the Newport area.

But yeah the tower at the bottom of the pic is 390 Greenwich.

Yeah they own it. They want to renovate it too. Make the whole tower glass.

^ It's their new Global HQ as well, hence the massive renovation.

I have a sinking feeling that I'll be disappointed with this tower. It's already looking a bit too boxy for what it's trying to accomplish.

I would like to. Unfortunatelly the 'jenga idea' is not noticeable from the site. In addition there is so much equipment which also make it harder to take a clear view. But the unveiling has begun so soon there will be no mystery anymore

i understand - and thx for confirming the unveiling is happening - do you know how long that process takes? ie., couple days? week or so?? also, do you know when they will add the decorative 'bean' at the streetlevel? thx again even if a guess.

Can see numerous developments. Most noticeably, on the left, Leonard.

Its affect on the landscape is pronounced.

I will have to ask guys from the site, but I think it's going to take approximately 2 weeks.
