Just noticed that Chic-Hog-O's (112 St south of Jasper Ave) is closed and emptied out.

Aw... It was decent, just didn't have great awareness.

Great to see so many patios open, with people, with blankets.

/\ Not yet, but I keep chatting about it with our Filipino nanny. I think we are going to take her soon. From what she tells me, it is like the 'Earls' of the Philippians.

MEAT last night for dinner before taking in a show at the Princess.

1/2 LB Brisket, half rack of ribs, garlic fries and brussel sprouts. Meat Cesar with bourbon for her, Pint of Yellowhead for me.

Phenomenal. Ribs, in the traditional dry smoked way, were delicious. Brisket was tasty too. The brussel sprouts were really good and unique in the way they were served.

Next time I'd pass on the fries, get a larger brussel sprouts and another meat dish. Maybe a bourbon cocktail or two as well. And it's a shame I didn't get to try their pecan pie. A favorite of mine.

^ Awesome, loved it the last time I was there. I don't care for caesars in general, but the meat caesar is to die for.
