I'm surprised no one commented earlier on this thread as well.. This looks like a beautiful little neighborhood. Next time I'm in the city I'll have to take a little trip over to Newark.

Its a very diverse neighborhood , it has over 90,000 people. Mainly Portuguese , Brazilian and Spanish but there are also Irish , Germans and Italians mixed in. And the restaurant selection reflects that , theres over 170+ Restaurants , Tapas , Cafes , Bars , Taverns and Lounges crammed into one square mile. Being one of Newark's safest neighborhood has made it a very popular weekend destination.. I would recommend a trip to the Newark Museum and then a walkthrough of the Ironbound.
