"Sarah Thomson: I thought Mayor Rob Ford was on cocaine"

That doesn't really count as evidence of being a known user. All these incidents may or may not be true, and they do keep adding up, no question, and I'd certainly like them to be true, but so far it's just a lot of speculation.

Somehow I get the sense that this one is going to go away, too. And as much as every sane person in Toronto is hoping it will spell the death knell for the great buffoon, it may backfire and harden the resolve of the rightwing idiots who voted him in in the first place.

What we really need is high resolution footage of Ford in his office vacuuming up cocaine from the belly of a naked skank while getting wanked off by a dwarf from behind. Oh, and cracking jokes about the suckers in Etobicoke falling for all of his bullshit.

Anybody got something like that?

Probably easier to find than the sasquatch.

Am I a bad person for having a little corner of my mind that finds Rob Ford the perfect representative of Toronto?

Not a bad person, but certainly not correct about that viewpoint.

Oh, I think you could have an interesting discussion, especially if you take Downtown out of the equation.

Ford is rightwing douche suburban and rural white Ontario. Wherever you find the Sun sitting on an empty table in Tim Hortons you'll find Ford and his ilk. Not all that common downtown. Obviously.

He's really kind of, well...American. There's no getting around it. What's so irritating to downtowners is the complete disconnect between him and his persona and the fantastic urban fabric that surrounds his office.

Toronto is Glenn Gould, not Rob Ford. Rob Ford is Etobicoke and Mississauga. There are lots of Rob Fords in Hamilton. And in pickup trucks in the countryside around where I live.

David Miller is a perfect representative of Toronto. From Wikipedia:

Quote:
Following his term as mayor, Miller rejoined the law firm of Aird & Berlis LLP where he specializes in international business and sustainability. He splits his time between Toronto and Brooklyn, New York where he accepted a three-year appointment at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University as Future of Cities Global Fellow and will teach courses on finding technological solutions to urban problems.
Sigh...

Or maybe everywhere that isn't Toronto?

I'd like to see the sources saying this.

I can't back this up but i have it on good authority that rob ford does in fact do cocaine. It's not that big of a deal. I wouldn't be surprised if other councillors do as well.

Just think of it as helping a young Somali drug dealer make a change In his life and get a fresh start in Calgary. It's a redemption story!

Whoever created this site will be laughing to the bank. The footage will mysteriously dissapear after they hit 200k. Pretty genius viral marketing I must say.

I love Rob Ford. I certainly wouldn't want him as the mayor of my city, but as long as he is leading some other burg, the entertainment value he provides is unparalleled!

The news website Gawker created the site. Somehow I doubt that they plan on scamming all their readers.

Only a faithful conerva-tard would consider the Toronto Star and Gawker to be "grifters".
