Thanks, the Brazilian historical buildings are generally much better than the Americans, not sure why. Our colonial heritage is much more interesting and perhaps because we maintain a strong bond with Europe econtinuamos as they build up to the twentieth century

São Paulo city has landscapes like these, you do not expect to see in a city with 13 million inhabitants

Very diverse and exciting! More tourists should definately go to SP, and not only Rio.

Hello nightsky !

Only the city of São Paulo receives 2 million foreigners a year and has the largest hotel chain in Brazil but the city still crawls in conventional tourism ... seems unbelievable but our main museum , MASP , with one of the best collections world has neither a website in English!

Despite receiving the largest events in the country , including the F1 , our leaders are not concerned with tourism .. maybe because the city is so rich and independent of that income, most people who want to explore the concrete jungle has to do that no signs in english , guides , scripts , etc. .. is best to inform the internet because the city has so much cool stuff hidden !

As for the beaches and landscapes of the rest of the state logic is the same , many of these landscapes are in ' serra do mar state park ' which is listed by UNESCO so there's resorts , hotels are places that appeal for being more ' wild ' and preserved ! Ilhabela is perhaps the most famous place of the coast , more internationalized with people coming from all over the world and getting to know right here

Ilhabela is the city with the highest number of foreigners among the cities of the Paraíba Valley , North Coast and Serra da Mantiqueira . Between 2000 and 2010 almost doubled the number of foreigners living in the city

In Brazil the beaches of São Paulo are also more expensive, beautiful and preserved .. but the exception of Ilhabela are all 'hidden'

Sao Paulo is a real city and the nature seems very beautiful! Would be nice to go to both Rio and SP and compare these cities, interesting in their own ways

Sao Paulo is a city so rich that simply ignores leisure tourism .. this has been changing in recent years! The main museums already have websites in English, there are some guides on how to do an 'urban safari'

Why develop off the coast much of the rainforest and beaches are preserved
