The west end of town is going to be quite dense in a couple of years.

Ooh, is this a webcam we have regular access to or just KXAN? There's 5 projects we can see from here.

I'm not sure. It's definitely from the Austonian, though. I like to check the local news stations' Facebook pages regularly because they have cool photos like these pretty often. This is their cover photo on their Facebook page.

I think the shape of the upper floors is really what's going to save this building from appearing as just a few floors of office above a parking garage. While it's not much different than say, Lavaca Plaza in that way, it's so much better than that building because of its design. The architects did a good job of giving it a meaningful look.

Just now realizing that I wish it would have gone up to 20 stories instead of 13. But the building itself looks good.

It actually maxes out the CVC for the lot.

Of course, so I guess I shouldn't complain though, it could have been another parking lot.

We need to have well designed low rises like this one to add density and street level appeal, but also to add seperation between the taller buildings so like Kevin posted a while back, we can still see them in their entirety.

That's a good way to spin the CVCs as a positive.

I'm liking the facade on this one on the lower floors.

Love this. It creates that "skyscraper canyon" effect when walking up 5th St.
