The Wingbuilding , 60 stories !

Three dimensional drawings of the tower were produced on the CDC computer of brussels University in December 1970.

It's an abandonned project, right ?
It would have been nice.

It is but at the Place Gaucheret -at the most northern tip of the Espace Nord- there is still a vacant piece of land where the Zenith Tower should be built in the future.
Rumours say this tower could be built over there.
On this lot the tallest building of the entire district is going to be built but how it is going to look is still unknown

I got lucky a few days ago : I have the permission to take pictures from the rooftops of the MadouTower & the Sheraton Towers !!

^Nive curves... and unusual top.
Somehow, it reminds me of Charlotte's BoA, or IFC in HK.

That wouldn't be a design by Pelli, would it ?

Could you post that picture you mentioned earlier ?
That might help even if the quality's not great.

Brussels is a beautiful city, just a bit of a labyrinth (I got lost the last time I traveled through it) That's a nice area around the Ellipse and Zenith BTW a real promenade of talls!
