LSyd's best and favorite of 2006

one year, two digital and two film cameras, one repair, a bunch of threads and a lot of good times.

Good times indeed. I wish you less camera problems in 2007.

Well that's 20 minutes out of my life I'll never get back.

Fun to revisit your trips. I'd forgotten about a couple of 'em. Love the smaller cities too. Isn't that Charleston a charmer? Great stuff Steve, but now you've set the bar mighty high for 2007. Good luck.

btw, I didn't realize you sing with a band.

thanks y'all.

ex-ith, only 20 minutes? sadly the only singing i do in front of an audience is at karaoke, hosted by the singer of the band in that pic. Charleston is great, i spent a couple days there this week.

thanks homeinmyshoes. i'm looking forward to getting a DSLR, although i'll miss the flipout viewfinder that makes hard angles easy.

dktshb, i didn't get to travel as much as i would've liked, or i did last year. i didn't even get out of the country last year, but that'll change as i'm planning on going to old Mexico. cities i planned on visiting but didn't make it: Raleigh, Savannah, Jacksonville, Asheville, Nashville, Greenville, NYC, Mobile, Montgomery. and i left my camera at a friend's apartment when i visited Tuscaloosa i didn't even get time to photograph the hometown of Knoxville.

2007 forecast: Columbia, Charleston, Knoxville, Asheville, Nashville, Johnson City, Richmond, Charlottesville, D.C., Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, Galveston, Memphis, Oklahoma City, Akron, Cleveland, New Orleans, and who knows?

^^^ Yeah, it would have been longer, but I stayed awake this time.

Let me know when the DC adventure occurs, maybe we can meet up.
