Pittsburgh has a light rail system called "The T." The three underground downtown stations are free, and then it runs at-grade on a couple routes through the South Side. Photos and info:

My city's still breathing, but barely it's true, through buildings gone missing like teeth. The sidewalks are watching me think about you, sparkled with broken glass.
I don't come on here for a month, and then the first thread I see is a Pittsburgh one; wonderful! I'm enjoying life back in the UK, but looking at these pictures there's a part of me that wishes we'd bought that house in Pgh.
