NYC November 5 through 7

I just got a new camera in October, just in time for my first trip to New York. I am still learning how to use the camera and how to take a decent picture. I've enjoyed so many of the photos that I've seen on this web page so I thought that I would share some of my own.

If I'm not mistaken those photos overlooking central park were taken from the Top of the Rock right?

Yes. I thought some of the pictures came out okay, though it was a bit hazy that day. I didn't bother going to the empire state building because of the haze.

I was thinking the same thing, I don't think I ever seen one of NY showing this much density in one shot. All I can say is WOW!

The rest are just as impressive, thanks for sharing.

For someone that didn't know what they were doing with their new camera, you sure impressed me!!!!

FYI - that gas station pic you've got above - it's getting torn down now!
I bought my Christmas tree in the lot across the the street on 6th Ave on Monday and noticed that it's all boarded up. No, sign. No pumps. So, that may be the last good pic of the old Mobile station there.
