yes because what 16th street really needs is a massive indoor mall to take away from the already lacking retail fronting 16th street.

Not necessarily. Have you visited the magnificent mile in Chicago? There are many of these "indoor multi-level" malls that front that street, such as the Water Tower Place. And the foot traffic is immense.

I'd love to have several of those options for Denver.

Godspeed good sir, and best of luck to you Bryan! I'll be sure to hit you up when I'm in Chi-town! (I might be kind of jealous but I won't disclose that here or Denver might )

^ cowpoke you are so right..my clients are mostly in CA, so i will be pushing for some site visits....but the rest of the year, and the built environement, really make it worth it....density, low-parking requirements, main-streets galore, three-flats, supertalls, and alleys...oh yes.

Ryan just holler!

I'm jealous.. and I freely admit it. Denver may be going places but they are all places Chicago has already been and seen in the rearview mirror. I was just there this weekend and I always hate leaving. Even more now that I'm going back to FL instead of Denver.

Also congrats Bryan from me as well!

Chicago is like the Aubrey Plaza of cities. Not drop dead amazing like your NYC, San Fran, etc, but you definitely want to experience some of your life with her and maybe move in for a while? Get to know her a bit? I've always loved Chicago and if there's any American city that has made me feel more at home than Denver, it's Chicago.

= Chicago

And about 1144, great project!

Good luck Bryan in your continuing endeavors! And congratulations on moving back to a real city from this budding, recovering cowtown.

Funded, design submitted (under review), with permits to be issued in the next couple of months.

Shit's about to get real.
