These towers are growing on me. Theyre not particularly daring or interesting aesthetics-wise, but their impact brings ebeotmpus stimulus to this part of town. They are best appreciated from the peel basin, which is already beginning to be a fantastic place to gaze upon the city's skyscrapers.

That being said, in not too hyped about the 14 storey tower they're now building, and whose crane is now up.

Thanks for the pics!

While none of these towers are particularly attractive, they do make their environments appear more urban, and are certainly much, much better than what has been going up in Laval.

I would honestly take le Griffix (which is the worst new building in Griffintown) over Villa Latella, Logix or any of the other hideous projects in Laval. In Laval, ugliness is taken to a whole other dimension.

Ever since we saw the renders we knew we were in for some trouble.

But I believe they will work fine as an ensemble. Hopefully.

DG I as of nov 6 2013

Ominous clouds above the crane foe the rental tower (14 floors).

cranes for Bassins (9 floors), M( (19 floors) and District Griffin I (14 floors).

I'm very conflicted on this tower. I really liked the black brick, but that white aluminum is kind of unsightly.

It's the best that's been built in Griffin Town so far. M9 will step up the game a little bit. Still satisfied with the result on D Griffin I.

note: I count 21 floors on the condo tower, not 19 or 20. The alt hotel has 17 floors just as planned. Te rental tower is 2 floors above ground already.

Yeah, I got the same counts.

Drove by there today. Minus the garish white cladding, I think this project looks quite good. I especially like the charcoal colour, as well as the office component with the "factory-style" windows.

Not too confident for the rental tower or the phases on Peel though.

It has ended up being relatively faithful to the render.
