I have a buddy who's parents just bought a condo in Surrey's city centre and he hasn't stopped talking about it months after it they moved in. He talks as if he lives downtown and is constantly posting pictures of all the strip malls and gas stations you can see from his balcony.

But I understand the excitement of getting a new place, especially with the way high rise condos are marketed. It's humorous, but there's nothing all that strange about it, it seems to me.

It's probably the most money your average person will spend on something in their life. They should be excited about it.
