Both places are very nice, but both have VERY limited beer selection.

Just to avoid confusion..about the Alberta Hotel, are we referring to Tavern 1903?

For a group get together, I'd choose something easier to find tables at, like The Hat or Rocky Mountain Icehouse. The large table at Red Star can be reserved I believe.

I used to go to Bruce 6-7 times a year with my SO and stop in Toefield for a shooter and beer on the way. LOVED our steak nights and Sat rib nights. once we took a limo out there with a group and had a blast!! Enjoy Cold!
