New website posted, but doesn't have floor plans yet. A fair bit of detail about the common spaces though.

Hard to take it seriously when it's flooded with spelling and grammar errors.

They read this page, I'm sure they'll figure it out.

Everyone seems to call it that that isn't from here. It's kind of right., haha. And I guess if it said St. Boniface, it wouldn't mean anything to outsiders.

Sometime in the 90s, the powers that be in St. Boniface decided to start officially marketing themselves as 'the French Quarter' to make it obvious to visitors what this area had to offer. I recall when they dropped it a few years back, it was mentioned that some people were expecting a New Orleans-style 'French Quarter' and were disappointed with what they got. So I guess it's back to just plain old St. Boniface, although I guess some still say French Quarter.

Amazing! I'm going to seriously consider buying here. It will stink if my deposit gets tied up, but if this thing goes, wow it will be pretty sweet.

this is correct. ironically though, the last thing you will hear in the French Quarter in New Orleans is spoken French. love the place though..

on a related subject, some of you may remember the original Chez Sophie on cathedral. La Belle Baguette has opened there now and it is terrific in my opinion. and you can speak French if, like me, you want to practice.

regarding sky city..i would be all over this as a place to live if I was in the market.

Agreed 100%. If my wife ever kicks me out of the house this is where I'm going. But I wouldn't drop a penny on it until the building is complete. I've seen first hand how new condo builds can go south even in situations where it looks like a sure thing, and as Simplicity has pointed out, this particular project is fraught with even more risk.

I thought some still spoke Patois there.

To me, more egregiously, is that none of this stuff would survive even if by some miracle the building ever did come to fruition. Buildings that retail at $650psf can barely squeeze amenities of half this degree into their budgets.

Nobody is chewing up ~30,000 square feet over three floors so a few tenants can play pick-up on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.

I wouldn't really call Fox a club, but it is kind of bizarre. Especially since (judging by price and marketing) a huge chunk of their possible buyers are people who would likely want to go out to places like that.
