Thanks! It was quite the fast moving storm with heavy hail, rain, lightning and thunder directly overhead. I just love the panoramic view from my balcony, and the few sunrises I have seen were spectacular!

Ive been to that same spot, its an awesome site to see Banff from above like that. Banff NP is seriously one of the most beautiful places Ive ever been, great photo too.

Yeah, Banff is a special place. I think many locals (myself included) take its proximity for granted. I drive through the mountains all the time, but rarely stop there because I always think I can just do it any time; I've been thinking that way for many years now.
