That's a beautiful building. When that entire area is built, including the Tower of Russia, it'll be very futuristic and spectacular. Way to go Russia, good to see they not only joined the rest of the democratic world in the 90's but now they're growing quite well economically.

This is a nice project. There are so many individual things I like about the design. Nice attention to detail on a human scale. It will be a nice place for people to be.

Very nice building. Can't wait to see it at night.

If you call a censoring, lieing, curropt government democratic, then I guess you're right...

I hope they don't hope to finance the complex by selling cakes and pictures of the building.

no, it just spring ball, which sponsored by Stroimontage

Main Investors of Project is NIKoil (they plan to spend $300mln byself and using 70000 sq m of offices in future complex), Stroimontage (it is a construction company, they invest it his through Mirax City company) and Samsung (but I don't know in what status)

Mirax City have two versions of complex. Both provides high tower as 345,1 meters with three version of floors count - 75, 87 and 92. But one project providecontruction of small low tower 35 or 44 storeys (around 170 meters). Second project provide more taller second tower around 245 meters.

First project provides construction cost in $315mln, second in $500mln.

What project will be totaly approved we will see in april, when they complete preparation for foundation works and begin it.

As I know they more think about 44 and 92 floors project.

Here is first project, which provides 35 and 75 floors.

wow...this is my favorite tower in the world under construction right now.

looking through the diagrams, Moscow's got some of the best towers and architecture in the world...and from the diagram, it looks like elegant Stalinist-esque high rises have been built in the past few years (personally, I think they're beautiful.)

I'd be a little afraid that this tower might make a target for terrorists.

oh and all those women are gorgeous, except for the one standing in the background.

You watch too much CNN.

Russia is not China.. they've made huge strides towards democracy. There is truth to the corruption, but the transition from Communism to Democracy will not happen without bumps. At least they do not ban the use of Google.

CNN is not the news source it once was. When Ted Turner sold it, it started becoming more like Faux News.

hmm, I don't know... I think at least a year. Foundation must be very deep and must staying, after completion, few time, because Moscow situated on very washy grounds.

I think it will be around 100 meters deep for Complex Federation and around 160 meters deep for Russia Tower.

I know 130 meters 35 storeys Olympia 2 tower has 38 meters deep foundation, 176 meters 43 storeys Edelweiss has 50 meters deep foundation.

In anyway, foundation work officialy will start only on April...
