Fantastic thread.
I love the northeastern cities as it's always sunny in Philadelphia, but my heart is NYC. I want to live there so bad, what an urban lovers paradise it is. There is no architecture anywhere in the USA as beautiful as whats in lower Manhattan. This is just my opinion of what I like so please no one attack me for that comment.

I too hope to make the move to NYC one day too, it would be amazing. Maybe even a little overwhelming.

EPIC!! Wow, this is hands down one of the best NYC & Philly threads that i've ever seen posted here!

Were you commissioned to take any of those shots inside the capitol building?

Also, I wanted to share a YouTube video of mine where I ride a citibike around lower Manhattan. I saw your comment about how you rode your bike around NYC. Did you bring it to Philly as well? Have you heard of the citibike program in NYC? I think it is coming to Philly soon. It is one of the best ways to see NYC in my opinion.

I also like how you took some shots at the fire scene. I love doing that. Sometimes i feel bad riding my bike to the 'scene' b/c it is someone's home being destroyed and I feel a little voyeuristic about the whole thing. I am really interested in the Fire fighters doing their job, and trying to see if i can get a before & after shot (i've filmed almost every street in my neighborhood over the years). I find that sort of stuff fascinating.

Here is the youtube video i mentioned... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfoYfUX7JiU

Awesome, awesome, awesome.

That picture with the opposing corners of the parapet and the crosswalk in NYC ... genius.

Killer thread, Lith. You nailed it so hard, you should put a ring on it.

NYC is truly unbelievable. With the eye you have for great shots, you belong in NY. Too bad it costs a million billion dollars to live in an apartment there. You could spend a lifetime finding cool shit there.

Geometry... DROOL.....
