Sorry yes of course. And I hope you can answer my question? Clearly I do not care about all of Minneapolis.

Just a rough estimate but there are probably a total of 8 half blocks and only 1 full block that I know of and that full block won't have anything built on it for the foreseeable future, the owners prefer the street level parking revenue apparently. Out of those half blocks, there are pretty much proposals for all of them. Some have better chances than the others and nothing has started on any of them.

Still this is a long long long ways from what downtown looked like 30 years ago. Parking lots galore. Unfortunately none of them have produced anything awe inspiring or very tall.

As MN/WI mentioned above, there's one full-block lot remaining, which unfortunately hasn't had a proposal in close to a decade. I don't have an exact count, but there's probably about a dozen-ish lots (mostly in the downtown periphery rather than the actual core) that are around a half block or larger, and about half of those have proposals.

This is a year and a half old now, but I took a look at the redevelopment of surface lots a while ago in the post below. I should update it sometime soon.

A revised proposal to expand Calhoun Towers calls for adding a 26-story apartment tower and a cluster of three smaller apartment buildings to the 5.4-acre complex in West Calhoun — replacing earlier plans to build two 20-plus-story towers and two mid-sized buildings on the site. https://www.southwestjournal.com/new...n-towers-plan/

New apartment complex going up across from Allianz Field. Possibly the first new construction because of it and then there's the LRT line right there too. Work begins on first apartment project next to Allianz Field://www.bizjournals.com/twincities/news/2019/11/19/work-begins-on-first-apartment-project-next-to.html https://www.bizjournals.com/twinciti...t-next-to.html

Plans were announced Monday for an 8,500-seat baseball stadium in Shakopee that a newly formed minor league team will call home.

The independent Metro Millers intend to put down roots on a site next to Canterbury Park with the hope of having "play ball!" called out for the first time in spring of 2021.

In July 2017, United Properties, with the help of general contractor RJM Construction, began construction of the 10-story, 205,000-square-foot Nordic office building. The Nordic was built on a parking lot at 729 Washington Av. next to the Loose-Wiles Building that United Properties also owns.

Most of the amenities at the newly built North Loop development the Nordic are geared to appeal not only to its office tenants but also to neighborhood residents.

The reconstruction of the Fremont Avenue bridge over the Midtown Greenway is taking longer than expected, meaning cyclists and pedestrians will be detoured onto West 28th Street well into December.

Housing construction outpacing 2018 in the Twin Cities
It is likely to be a record year for multifamily units. Production of single-family homes is catching up quickly.

http://www.startribune.com/housing-c...ies/565556862/

Homebuilders in the Twin Cities had their busiest November in at least 15 years, according to a monthly report from Housing First Minnesota, which tracks permits to build single-family houses and rental apartments in the Twin Cities.
